A Leap Towards Our Vision

Since the beginning of the openAE community, we always wanted to have some way to allow the users to submit/post content on the website.
After some discussion about the mechanics and details of how this should work and be integrated into the website, we have finally come to a decisive implementation.
All registered users, when they login, will now have a tab appear in the top menu called "Contribute Article". Upon clicking on the tab, a pretty advanced article writer will open allowing our community members to write an article. After the article has been written, it will be placed under pending status before the administrators. After we approve of the content, the article will be posted on the website with the originators name.
As for the content of these articles, we are leaving that completely open (but of course in the realms of some kind of use to the aerospace community).
We really hope that this is viewed as a large step towards a truly open community.
