The significant problems we face cannot be solved at the same level of thinking we were at when we created them. - Albert Einstein

Want a world class education for free? Well this is MIT's answer.  OpenCourseWare (OCW) was created as part of an initiative with the OCW Consortium in providing completely free and open university grade curriculum's to the public. With MIT being consistently ranked as one of the top technical institutes in the world, there is no better source for subject matter related resources.

The MIT Aeronautics and Astronautics department offers a large amount of interesting undergraduate and graduate level courses from world class lecturers; there are a number of audio and video lectures as well.  One in particular which is worth special mention is a video lecture in Aircraft Systems Engineering by  Professor Aaron Cohen who was the project manager on the Space Shuttle Orbiter!

Although there are a number of wonderful institutions participating in the OCW, MIT still possesses the most resources/monopoly in the field of aerospace engineering. However, feel free to browse the OCW Website.  If there is another institution which should be mentioned, let us know!
